The Obfelden Residential Development Project consists of two similar but not identical structures, which are designed in accordance with zoning regulations with two full stories and an attic. The basement floors are completely below ground level on the slope side and are exposed on the valley side and converted for living and recreational purposes.

The overall development comprises a total of 24 residential units and a community pub for communal use. The basement levels also contain cellars and technical rooms as well as an underground garage with 27 parking spaces. All apartments have at least one large balcony, terrace or garden seating area. The landscaping is responsive to the neighboring surroundings and the topography by creating spaces for retreat and access through terracing and planting.

In the eastern part of the perimeter, which is difficult to develop due to the noise pollution from the Dorfstrasse, a green filter of trees and hedges has been created, which, in addition to the play and recreation areas, also includes 16 outdoor parking spaces and access to the underground garage. A total of six of the 16 outdoor parking spaces are also covered (as carports). Along these landscaped areas, a footpath leads from the Dorfstrasse to the Rebhaldenstrasse, from where the two houses can be accessed. All houses are wheelchair-accessible from the street and from the visitor parking spaces.

The buildings have flat foundations and are planned as hybrid buildings. The access cores as well as the floor slabs and interior walls are made of reinforced concrete or masonry. In the area of the façade, the ceilings are supported by steel columns, while the non-load-bearing façade is made of wooden elements. The attic floor in both houses, including all interior walls, is constructed of wooden elements.

A rear-ventilated timber lathing was provided as the façade, with the windows being made of wood-metal cladding. The flat roof is extensively greened, with the exception of the areas occupied by technical building systems (solar collectors and PV system).
