We are three successful companies that form a competence centre in the real estate industry under one roof. Our core competencies lie in the areas of consulting, development and brokerage at Imooo AG, planning and architecture at Steigerconcept AG and construction management, cost planning and devising at Confirm AG. Our portfolio includes in particular large-scale projects in healthcare and infrastructure construction as well as public buildings.

To strengthen our team in the Confirm Bern office, we are looking for a Construction Project Manager (80-100%).

TASKS AND CHALLENGES

You will manage the construction site on site and ensure that work is carried out reliably and according to plan. You will act with foresight, be in close contact with the client and inform the client at an early stage of any irregularities. Your communicative talent and experience help you to find constructive solutions together with planners and contractors, even as a troubleshooter. Thanks to your flexibility and extensive expertise, you are able to participate in different phases and different projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

Ideally, you have a basic education in planning, e.g. as a structural draughtsman / architect or a construction-related profession, e.g. as a bricklayer or carpenter with further training to become a federally certified construction manager or technician in structural engineering. Several years of experience in construction management are important to us. You act proactively, communicate with the various contact persons in an appropriate manner and keep calm even when problems arise at short notice thanks to your pragmatic approach to finding solutions.

TASKS AND CHALLENGES

As a cost planner in our diverse internal and external projects, you will be an important partner for our project managers and actively support them in all matters relating to construction costs. Within the projects, you will be responsible for rough cost estimates and cost estimates from the early work phases onwards, and you will always be up to date with the various project statuses. You take part in project meetings and maintain an overview of deadlines and costs throughout the entire duration of the project. Cost planning assessments of competitions are part of your area of responsibility. In addition, you will contribute to the development of our cost database and actively participate in the further development of our BIM cost structure.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

You have a basic education as an architect or have another higher education in construction and several years of experience in construction and/or project management, preferably in cost planning. Thanks to your communication skills, your professional competence and your confident manner, you know how to lead even difficult negotiations to success. You work independently, proactively and see yourself as part of an interdisciplinary team within the project. You have a secure knowledge of German, both written and spoken.
