The building construction industry is at the crossroads of an unusual and dramatic beginning of a transformation process. While other industries have been increasing their efficiency for decades through optimization, building construction is partly using work processes, which are thousands of years old.
The new working methods, which are becoming increasingly possible through digitalization, are hugely promising. They anticipate nothing less than a second chance: in employing BIM models to simulate prototypes better and improve methods before the commencement of the building construction works. This means, that we can test matters again, learn, and risk mistakes. Slowly we are getting away from the eternal troubleshooting method. And, we gain time, and we create freedom of movement.
Since we began gradually to link our work processes to the central 3-D simulation method, we have primarily been anticipating a better form of building construction management. We found what we were looking for in new approaches from industrial production and app. Development in general.
