The shell of the LUKS has been completed. An important stage has been achived\u00a0 in the construction of the new children’s and women’s hospital at the Lucerne\u00a0 Cantonal Hospital.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, July 4, 2024 the concreting of the last ceiling of the floor took place. We were able to celebrate this important milestone together with the client and the entrepreneurs involved. Extensive concrete and steel work as well as modern construction methods were used for the new building.<\/p>\n
A total of 40’000 m3 of concrete, 5’000 tons of reinforcing steel and 640 tons of sheet metal beams were installed. In addition, recycled concrete and building materials with ECO certification were used in this project to comply with the Minergie P-ECO standard.<\/p>\n
The new building will implement new standards in the area of healthcare. Together with other entrepreneurs, we contribut to safe medical care in Central Switzerland. We are proud of the result and it is a pleasure to be involved in this project.<\/p>\n
